Shortyz Crossword Problem..Help!

Quick question for anyone who uses Shortyz.


Whenever I run Shortyz now all of the puzzles are corrupted. Sometimes they download fine, but inevitably in a few hours they all corrupt themselves. I've tried deleting the crossword folders off of my SD card and retrying, reinstalling the application, reformatting my SD card and reinstalling; nothing works.

My phone is rooted and am just running stock (no ROMs flashed). I also am using a new SD card.

Any thoughts or solutions to make me be able to use my favorite app again?

Have you ruled out your SD card as the problem?

I have Shortyz but haven't been on it for about a week. I'll check it and post back if I have the same issues as you.

I tried reformatting my SD card, no change. I can try putting in another SD card and copying the files and see if it returns to normal.

I can confirm that Shortyz is working fine on my app without any corruption.

Uninstall your Task Killer if you installed one and/or stop it from killing on a schedule.

I don't kill it at all; I'm gonna try switching cards and see what happens. Other apps that are installing on my SD card are being messed up too.

Yep--My SD card must have been corrupting data. I switched back to my old one and its working fine. Won't be ordering any SD cards off Ebay that come from china anymore...
