Do many of you use Clean Master Phone Boost or any similar "cleaner". I see the one I mentioned is rated highly. I used it in my Nexus 5. I recall in the Nexus 5 I got a message telling me how the app had disposed of an enormous about of junk since I first installed it. I was left wondering how my phone could have functioned without it.
Yet the Android phones I had for years before worked well without such "cleaning" apps. Perhaps the Android phones have some built in way of purging junk.
Are these types of apps really necessary? What about all the anti virus apps? Do many of you use these. I always found with PC's the less programs you have installed the better they run. I am sure these phones are the same.
I ask this question as I am debating using Clean Master and perhaps a free anti virus in my new Oneplus One. Thanks
