Should the term "4G" still apply with Sprint?

To stop using the term 4G? It seems since the latest info we got from Sprint, that 4G is dead. Am I wrong in my thinking?

Their 4G isn't dead, they are just switching to a new one. Wimax is still active and on.

I think so. The wimax network is still active and will remain active for some time (although expansion seems unlikely). Sprint is also working to deploy a nationwide LTE network. 4G is definitely not dead.
