Shows on Demand for HTC Hero

Hi,
I live in Europe and I hate that Samsung and Verizon have on-demand TV services and I don't! I have a HTC Hero and I was wondering if there are any on-demand TV &/or Film services to download? Please, I love watching movies and shows on planes or while commuting, even if there was an online APK for the Samsung service.

P.S. I am running 2.1 so software restrictions are not a problem.

Sprint has on demand tv. Besides that, there is not much for streaming TV. Best bet is to put the movies on your SD card and watch them later.
