Shutter volume for Camera

Besides putting the phone on silence, how do you turn off the shutter volume while using the camera?

Yes, I want a camera sound mute also. The "shutter" sound is very irritating.

I can't find whether it passed or not, but sometimes manufacturers decide to change their products to fit proposed legislation to be ahead of the game, as a sign of good faith, or just to avoid having to do so later.

Some apps in the market (Volume control, and some others I think) have a "system volume" that is different from the ring volume, call volume, media volume, navigation volume, alerts volume, and alarm volume.

Pretty sure that will turn off the shutter sound (as well as key click sounds).
