At my country, not all people can afford a smartphone, and since the popularity of iPhone, anyone who has the luxury to have it tend to brag about it. I'm not an Apple hater , my family has several Apple products but its the iPhone users I see bragging about there phone. Just my observance, maybe it's the "in" thing.
There is one particular guy that I always hate. He goes to my school and his parents are very rich.
This guy just wouldn't stop talking about his damn phone. "Look what it can do!" "Did you see that?!" "If I do this, look what happens." "Cool, isn't it?" "You should get an iPhone!"
I always tell him that I don't care, that you are just showing useless app like the stupid drinking game, all smartphones have apps, it's nothing new. Doesn't even have real customization But this guy just go on and on. Nobody invites him to get-together anymore because we're sick and tired of his bragging.
One time when I embarrassed him about the signal problems and the yellow stain in the iPhone 4 he even said I was jealous because I only have a Nokia 5530(at that time) and couldn't afford the iPhone, so I borrowed my brother's iPhone 4 and just brought it to school. As I was using the phone, I always criticizes it, saying all the flaws. The next day he didn't brag (much).
Look I know having a smartphone is cool but please, don't brag. It's not even a big deal. You're just being a douchebag. Being an iSheep isn't something to be proud about. There are better phones than your precious iPhone.
Sorry, I just need to rant.
