I am sick and tired of my phone not wanting to participate in the voice to text anymore, i have tried various solutions, including downloading vlingo, however i dont know how to make vlingo the default app and get rid of google who only seems to like relaying and playing back gibberish and half spanish words. The text app went from working fine to not working at all, i dont see a solution in sight and have already thrown it against the wall, taken the battery out, all the normal stuff. The only thing I HAVENT dont is rest the entire phone, but...why should I have to? need help please, the talk to text is useful and it crapping out for no reason isnt cool.

hmmm, looks like this community is pretty useless. So much for finding help.
The problem is solved now, but its not a normal reason for being, as it turned out, my swipe button was somehow switched to spanish, after that it works like normal. So if anyone reading this has a similar problem, try this option as well. Wow, 24 views and not ONE suggestion? thanks for nothing. Guess ill start my own q and a about this product.

Well with that kind of attitude you'll probably never get any help. You waited only two hours before declaring this forum as useless. Members of this forum don't just sit by their computers to answer questions. We have lives just like anyone else. Not everyone of us use google voice and not everyone of us have encountered the issues you're having. You can't expect to get an answer in such a short period of time. Really, this should be common sense.
When 24 people look in and duck out, it makes you wonder; so save the high and mighty speech for someone else. It wasn't about time at all so your point is moot.

Wow...your logic is astounding. I already pointed out to you why "time" IS a factor. Given enough time ( as in more than 2 hours), somebody who have experienced your problem probably would have responded. Just because 24 duck in, doesn't mean those 24 have an answer to your problem. Maybe your issue is so unique that only a select few knows how to solve it. And maybe those select few weren't online in between those two hours you posted. This really isn't rocket science.

I DID stop by...and I didn't say anything. You know why??? Because I didn't know the answer!! How can I help you when I have no idea what you're talking about.
Call it being defensive or whatever you want. If you say something I disagree with(such as calling this community useless), I'm going to say something back. We are in a forum aren't we?
Oh btw, this is "android media" forum. Google voice is not an android media app. Try posting in the right forum before declaring something as useless.
