Receive pic and touch pic to view larger. Then pic goes sideways, upside down all the while I'm chasing it continuously turning my phone to view pic upright. Thanks for help please.

Use a free image viewer program called QuickPic in the Google Play store, it's more user friendly and will allow you to rotate photos if the need for rotation comes up.
