Sign-out of email accounts

How do you sign-out of email accounts on Nexus 7 android? The only way I've found to get out of email accounts is to delete the account. I have an android phone that allows signing-out so what gives with the Nexus 7?

hello and welcome to the forums. you want to sign out of the google can i ask you want to delete or just sign out . to sign out you have to reset the google service framework and reset the tablet . i don't think you want to do that

You can ask other Nexus 7 users HERE.

It could be that it is set up differently, since it came from Google--like Kindles are locked onto your Amazon account. You might have to de-register the device to log out.
