Just noticed that under the battery and the mobile network signal is all Orange for me. Just wondering what the orange distinguish's and if it's having any effect on battery life? Guessing it's the 4G struggling in my area at work.

Orange indicates an inability to connect to Google services - that generally indicates that you've got a data connection but no reliable Internet connectivity. It could definitely be related to the struggling 4G - in which case you can expect your battery life to take a pretty good hit too.

Always on wifi in the office here, banging it back to 2G it is then. Hardly ever use data anyway
