Signal switching between MetroPCS and Roaming

I have noticed that for the past week or so, my phone has been switching back and forth between MetroPSC service and roaming while I am at home. As a result, my phone does not ring when I get a call, but I get a notification if they leave a voicemail. There is also a delay in receiving text messages. This also has reduced the battery life of my LG Motion substantially as it is constantly searching for a signal. This does not seem to be an issue when I am away from home. I am in San Francisco. Has anyone else experienced the same issue specially lately?

Seems like you have signal issues, if it only occurs at home I recommend checking out coverage and did you happen to put a custom rom on your phone?
