Signed into 2 accounts but not getting notifications

I am logged into 2 Facebook messenger accounts on my phone. I get notifications of a new message for my account, but am not getting them from the other account logged in. Is there a setting I'm missing. The main device the other account is logged into gets the notification of a new message but on mine it does not.
