Silence that Desire!

Hi - just got my Desire today and am loving it so far.

Can anyone tell me the quickest and easiest way to set it to silent please? I have my phone on my desk at work and I don't want any audible notifications of text messages, emails and calls.

Press the volume rocker on the side until it vibrated, then go up one.

Hold the power button in. Click the Silent mode option.
