I'm a Web developer/Tech lead in IT field for more than 10 years and this is first time I have developed a mobile app/game.

I have just released my first Android game and I'm excited to share it with you all.

Silly Slider Puzzle is a tile slider puzzle game with with noticeable differences to the similar type games.
Mainly it has real time Multiplayer option to play with a random online player to solve a same puzzle real time. and the quickest to solve the puzzle will win.

There is Single Player options as well which is more like a career mode with 3 different difficulty levels. You can exit the game any point and resume later.

Make sure to create an account and log in to the game so career progress and multiplayer options will be available.

The other main difference is that the game publisher will add add new puzzles time to time without the need of updating the game from play store.

I have to enquire why does a "simple puzzle game" require these permissions that I've highlighted in red. Is it for user data mining?

This app has access to:

Phone

• read phone status and identity

Photos / Media / Files

• read the contents of your USB storage
• modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

Storage

• read the contents of your USB storage
• modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

Device ID & call information

• read phone status and identity

Other

• 
  
• receive data from Internet
  
• view network connections
  
• full network access
  
• run at startup
  
• draw over other apps
  
• control vibration
  
• prevent device from sleeping

I can understand the need full network access and receive data from internet, as that's required for the ads and maybe high-score sharing. But the others, like full access to photos and videos? If you care to elaborate, I might feel more confident about installing and trying your game out.

Thanks a lot for the comment mikedt. Actually I needed to have access to AcyncStorage which I save the game's current state so a logged in user can resume the game later since for a puzzle of a high difficulty level might require more time to solve.
Anyway I'm still new to mobile development. I'll see what I can do to give an alternative solution for it.
