I recently lost my metro pcs sim card when I dropped my phone and every metro store I have been to doesn't seem to have any in their store so I bought a regular sim card from walmart (it fits) but I cannot figure out how to activate it (I want it to be activated for use through metro and not through walmart's plan) Can anyone help me?

SIM cards are provided by the carrier for use on their network. You'd presumably activate it by calling the provider (in this case Walmart), but can't activate one provider's SIM on another provider.

I had a similar problem the other year when my SIM developed a fault. I spoke to my provider, who said they couldn't just post me a SIM and I should get one from one of their shops. After trying 5 of their shops, none of which had a SIM (or knew when they'd get one), I phoned them back and told them this, and then it turned out that they could make an exception and they posted one to me. So it might be worth calling Metro PCS and telling them that none of their stores have SIMs and seeing whether you can get them to send one to you.
