Help Sim card added error

I am getting a pop up almost daily, sometimes more than once per day saying "Sim card added" must restart phone, I have to restart it to get a signal. I physically opened the sim card tray and put it back in to make sure it wasn't loose. Any ideas? I may take it back to t-mobile, I've had it since January and this just started happening.
 
I've had this once.

My friend though has this happen to him every day. Usually happens when he turns on mobile data.
 
I had this on a previous phone. I ended up getting a new sim and the problem went away.

I started experiencing this problem with my Nexus 5 on AT&T a few days ago. When I search with Google, I get a massive amount of complaints, but so far no resolution.

I have seen many who have replaced their Sim only to have the problem return.

How is yours doing now after one month since this post?
