SIM CARD Removal & Security Question

I have an old ATT Moto Razr V3 that I want to give away to charity. But, I do not remember the password so I could not access Master Erase or Master Factory Reset.

But, after removing the sim card, I can't look to see what data might be left on the phone internally. The screen just stays on the "Insert SIM" page.

If I give the Razr away without the sim card, does that mean there is no personal data on the phone that would come up if someone put a new sim card in it??

The only data that will be missing after removing the Sim card, are your contacts (if you had them saved to sim) everything else would stay on the phone (pictures, videos, contacts that were saved on the phone ect.)
