Help Sim card to phone transfer? How?

I have the Dell Streak 5 2.2 which no longer has that Sim card manager. I have all my phone contacts on my Sim card. The manual says that I can only add photos to contacts that are stored on the phone's memory. How do I transfer Sim contacts to the phone. I have already "exported" the Sim data to the SD card, but the phone still only recognizes the Sim contacts. Any ideas? Thanks.

Not sure if your phone will but on mine -
Go to add contacts screen ( the one that also lists) then menu/ more / import / from sd - and choose file they r in.

That is not from the SIM to the phone...
Hoe do you copy from SIM to phone????

Don't know what's wrong with your phone but my Streak has the option in contacts to import from SIM and/or SD card

..hey if u want to put ur sim contacts to the device...here are the steps...
1.go to contacts.
2.click on the pannel middle one(which ha s rectangular in shape.)
3.right corner (import and export)
4.select the frst one (Import from sim).
5.all ur contacts get impoted.
if u wana see diff...just remove all the data from sim.

Note:- u need to the following.NEXT>>
1.clcik on middle button again u find display options
2.click on that and u find sim contatcts been selected (just remove tick mark)
..come out....
here is ur solution.

It is better to have them as google accounts, because they are then automatically backed up. I also find them easier to manage.

If you have them as phone accounts and then anything happens to your phone, like losing it, then your contacts are gone.

There's an app on the market called 'Phone Contact Transfer' It will put all of your contacts from phone to phone directly.
