SIM card tray problems emergency calls only

My daughter got a micro sim stuck in SIM card tray after getting it out and putting the normal sim back in just saying emergency calls only
 
She may have damaged the SIM contacts in the phone.

If the SIM works in other phones but not that one that would be the most likely answer to my mind.
