Hi everyone,
I have a problem and in xda forum no one replied so I was hoping you might...
I rooted my tatoo and managed to install CyanogenMod7 with ClockWorkRecovery 5.x.x on it and I was hoping that this will be enough. Well, it wasn't )
My phone came locked for Orange cards and what confuses me is that after installing a new ROM I still can't use other SIM cards.
When I turn the phone on it asks me for the PIN of the SIM card and then it asks for "sim network unlock pin"
I searched around and some say that it has to do with radio in tatoos. These are suggesting installing old radio or some kind of update for it...
Does anyone have any suggestions where to get that update and some tips how to install it?
UPDATE: I found out that in order to install radioband that I found online I will have to downgrade my Recovery to something lower than 3 because radio update uses some kind of scripting that was abandoned in Android 1.5.
Rom Manager tool is great, but it doesn't let me download ClockWork older that 3.0. I downloaded 2.x manually, but recovery aborts the installation?!
Thanks,
Luka
