SIM unlock screen not showing on Sprint Samsung Note 4

Snote4

Lurker
I have two Sprint Samsung Note 4 phones and switching the carrier from Sprint to Metro PCS. I received the unlock codes from Sprint earlier today, after being on the phone for about an hour,
However, Metro PCS sales reps/techs were unable to complete the unlock process, since SIM unlock screen did not show and they have never worked on Samsung Note 4 before.

Metro PCS reps tried multiples times with metro pcs SIM card, and without SIM card to unlock the both sprint Note 4 phones , but none of the below procedures worked, unlock screen never appeared to insert the code.

Method #1 Insert a Non accepted SIM card in your phone and power on. Once finished loading your phone will ask you to enter a code, enter the Unlock Code, unlock screen did not show.

Method #2 Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press: #7465625*638*UNLOCKCODE# (8 digit unlock code) unlock screen did not show.

Method #3 Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press: #0111*UNLOCKCODE# (8 digit unlock code) unlock screen did not show.

Method #4 Go to the dial screen on your phone as if you are going to make a call and press #7465625*638*# Once prompted for code, enter the 8 digit Unlock Code. unlock screen did not show.

Is there another way to enter the code to unlock the note 4 simlock?
We would like to get both Note 4s unlocked and switch to Metro PCS ASAP.
Thanks in advance !!

the msl cannot be used to unlock the most, if not, all sprint Phones. It can however be used to edit some hidden features like locked apn settings on some phones.

To unlock it, sprint would have to do it via an OTA update or you can unlock it via a 3rd party like www.gsmzambia.com who will unlock the phone via software remotely.

The unlock by third parties means it will work both domestically and international, as well as on other cdma networks
