Apps Simple 3D Room in Android

Hi,
I already made a few simple Apps and understand the Android basics.
I now want to test some 3D stuff and basically build a simple 3D room with an object in the center, users should be able to control position and viewing angle of the camera.
Is there an engine that is commonly recommended by more experienced Android developers?
Where do I start reading/learning for this approach?

There are a couple of options for you.
Android 3d graphics can be implemented by using the OpenGL graphics library

A lot of people use the Unity development tool, which is a more sophisticated environment, geared towards development of 3d games
