Simple app wanted

I'm trying to find an app (free or not) that will automaticly set sms messages from one or more contacts as read and not send off sound/vibration. I've tried some different packages but they are either full of functions I have no use for or can't do (this simple thing) that I want. I've bought Tasker, but cannot find a way to do this. Any suggestions?

Tasker is your best bet. If it's too complicated for you the problem is not Tasker, of course.
Since you paid for it I would suggest you focus on it a bit more to get this set up or you will have wasted your money.

I tried to install it but something weird happened- it froze a second after it finished installing... Any ideas? Could just be my phone.
