Simple calendar app for searching

I have 7000+ events, going back to 1996, in my Google Calendar. I use S Planner on my Galaxy S2 phone for current events but need a way to search this 7000+ events on my phone. I am often needing to do the search when I have not got a signal thererfore I need to hold these events on my phone's SD card and use a calendar app to read and search.

I don't really need extensive facilities on this app just a way of displaying and searching; simpler the better.

I have exported basic.ics from Google to my phone; I will update this ics file occasionally, say once per month,when I have a signal.

Any advice please?

I use Touch Calendar. The search function will pull up a list of results past and present.

But I can not see a way that Touch Calendar can import from a *.ics file.

Is there such a way?
