Simple lock screen

I tried Go Locker but could not get on with it.

Thinking of Widget Locker.

All I want is a very simple lock screen on my Galaxy S2. My wallpaper and the nine pattern buttons; Widget Locker?
 
Installed Widget Locker but cannot see how to achieve my lock screen.

None of the settings mention the unlock pattern; all I want other than my wallpaper.

Any advice please?
 
From the lock screen (in tool mode), you can long press on a slider to change its settings. Maybe a screenshot of a lock screen similar to what you are looking for would help?
 
Wait, I don't understand, if all you need is the pattern lock and your own wallpaper, why bother installing lock apps? Just go to menu>settings>location and security>lock>set up pattern lock. Then for the wallpaper, just go to gallery, long press the wallpaper you want, set as lock screen wallpaper.

I understand what you are saying but when I do that there are other items showing on the lock screen such as time, date that obscures part of the wallpaper that contains my ICE information. The lower part of the wallpaper is obscured by the nine pattern buttons so the ICE can't go there.

If I could remove time and date it would help?
 
Well, you can't get the pattern lock on any other lock app, but you can get the app lock to appear over the pattern, where removing the locker app reveals the pattern lock. Also I believe there was an ICE app which does this too, showing a lockscreen above the pattern lock.

This is what I have now got. Press Power or Home key and my wallpaper appears, with its ICE info. Press Go back and the pattern screen appears. Unlock and Home screen appears.

Will leave it at that for now.
 
Yeah, I tried GoLocker too and though it was free, it was just not customizable enough for my taste. Ended up shelling out the cash for Widgetlocker and think its one of the best apps period (not just locker apps).
