The preview of the front facing camera is mirrored, and once you take a photo it mirrors it again to get the "true image". It is easy to re-mirror this image so that it looks like the preview, but this is not what I want.
I'm after an app that has the preview non-mirrored, without having to have a jail broken phone.
There are already a few existing apps that do this, such as True Mirror, Simple True Mirror, and Smart Mirror but the image is stretched and distorted. Perhaps this is because the apps were only developed and tested for one particular phone, and do not work well on different sized phones? (I have a Galaxy S4 mini) Anyway, I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult to develop a non mirrored camera app with a quality similar to the default app.
A Google search suggests that a quite a few people are after this, so I think it will be worth creating.
