There are Android phones that makes deleting a call log entry simple, just one touch and delete the call log entry.
Moto G or Google makes it so cumbersome to delete a call log entry. Too many steps and the biggest problem is the steps are not easily remembered. Need to tap here and there, guessing if the next screen has a trash bin for delete. In tapping for the right screen, sometimes you may end up making the call again, the called party might just wonder why you are calling again. Moto G could have just make it simpler. Or is there a simpler method of deleting a call log entry in Moto G?
Here are the 4 steps required to delete a call log entry in Moto G 2015.
Step 1: Touch Recent Tab (yes, if nobody tells you, touch the Recent tab to get to the deletion screen)
Step 2: Touch and hold on the called number (if I recall that's what I did). Do not touch the "View full call history", there is no option to delete there
Step 3: Touch the Details tab
Step 4: Touch the trash bin to delete call log entry
