I'd clean that edge really well to get any old caulk out and also to remove any junk. Clean it well with some alcohol and let it dry. Get some good water resistant, kitchen/bath caulk (I like latex not silicone based myself), in the color of choice and apply it. Let it dry to manufacture specs and enjoyIt's the edge of the sink, which I guess is ok, and the counter, which is not. You've probably noticed I'm not much of a photographer. The counter is probably kind of old, maybe formica. I should include a photo of an undamaged part for comparison.
DAP is good, I use it too. Coloring it....eh, not sure you could do that with a caulk in a tube...a bit hard to do, just get the color of choice. White would be fine if your picture depicts the right colorWould Dap work? I have some but I think it's just plain white. I haven't opened it yet. Could I color it to match?
