Siri envy and Mr. Elvis Buried

Reminds me of this (swearing).

There are boundaries when talking at a handheld device. Speakerphone is OK when you're in a room; BT headset makes you look like a crazy person talking to yourself (until it is known that you're not crazy, but wearing a headset). Talking into a phone is OK because people can see it but can't hear the other person; there is some degree of privacy but at least you're not crazy. Indeed many people choose to communicate by email or farcebook or whatever.

Honestly my phone does what I want, it has speech recognition functions but I choose not to look like an idiot. Apple choose to look like idiots with their patronising ad campaign & dangling silly toys in front of GROWN UPS. How much longer do we need to humor them?

Well said.

Been messing with Google Now for a bit. It's pretty sweet.
Won't be using the voice search much (even though it's quite accurate), but the pop up cards are scary/accurate.
