I did not even reinstall it. Will give it a try when it is released. Wish I would have stayed on 2.1.

My Sirius/xm app is working just fine under rooted 2.2, but I will be interested in the newer updated app.

I'm testing a fix now (Thanks to Booch_21 and others on androidforums.net)

It's already looking good after about 10 minutes of play with no looping. Previously the looping would start after 30 seconds to 3 minutes. If it loops in the next half hour or so I'll post back and scold myself for posting too quickly.

Here's what I did:


1) Purchase and install easyroot (i'm lazy and easyroot is cheap)
2) Root phone
3) Reboot
4) Purchase and install root explorer
5) Use root explorer to edit /system/build.prop
6) Change the line media.stagefright.enable-player=true
to media.stagefright.enable-player=false
7) Reboot
8) Play Opie and Anthony on XM202
9) Enjoy loop-free explicit comedy.

I'm having issues with this app, on 2.1 even. Does the root file changing method work for 2.1 as well?
