Sirius/XM App for Android?

So I did some searching on this topic, and I could only find some pretty old stuff regarding this.

I also read that an official application from a joint effort between Google and Sirius was in the works. Apparently just a rumor, but I was wondering if anyone had heard anything new recently?

And before someone says "Just use Pandora!" ...that doesn't pertain to this thread. I'd prefer to use a satellite for streaming audio, rather than a wireless network. 3G is somewhat limited where I live (and often drive), and listening to Pandora on Edge sucks sometimes.

Anyways, anyone know anything? Thanks!

I too am hoping for an xm app however if one does come out it will run on the 3g or edge network I dont believe they will be integrating an actual satelite reciever in a phone it will be simaler to blackberry or iPhones app which runs off the wireless network.

Oh ok, well that kinda stinks. Oh well. In that case, Pandora works for me. I do however miss Howard and the Sirius NFL stations.

I am waiting for the official Android XM app that is in the works. Moved offices now I can't get Opie and Anthony on my Myfi.

I was thinking but it didn't seem to work for me, I put the sirius radio and wired it to my ERIS ( headphone jack) thinking it would play out of the eris but no, that didnt work any ideas
