Sites besides Google Play for apps?

Other than the Play Store, What are some rate/review sites to find apps?

I would like a site that also has apps that Google doesn't allow on their store (for whatever reason). I've found that due to marketing and favoring, it seems like Google (cherry picks) what apps it highlights.

Any ideas on (unbiased) places to find apps?
