Help Skies not connecting to sync music (iSyncr question as well)

Hello all,

Over the weekend I researched wasy to remove some DRM protection from my mp3s and m4as, and since I didn't want to pay $40 for a software, I wanted to give Skies transfer a shot. Unfortunately I kept getting a connection error: I can't remember the exact name, but basically it's an error message that's asking me to connect in "PC Studio" mode?

Anyways, I researched for this and found a bunch of solutions and none of them worked. I can't connect to skies at all.

Which is fine, I use Google to sync all my stuff, but for transferring my iTunes music to my S3, I am planning to buy iSyncr.

I just wanted to ask if iSyncr is it's "own" software, or if I have to do it through Skies again.

Thanks,

G.

DMR is not easily removed. I read that if you use Window Media Player to burn a CD of the music and then rip it into MP3 it would remove the DRM from music. I know of know way to remove it from Movies. What is Skies software you are trying to connect?

It's the Samsung Kies, I read somewhere that I can transfer my iTunes music to my phone without any problems using Samsung Kies, except that I can't connect to it.

Ideally, I also don't want to use Google Music as I imagine storing them on the cloud and playing them from cloud will use my data limit, am I correct?

Does your computer recognize you phone? There is a way to use Google Music and download the songs to the phone instead of playing from the Cloud. Also try this app.
MyPhoneExplorer
I have been using it instead of Kies.

Yes the computer recognizes the phone, as a USB mass storage device, Kies doesn't (weird, I know)

I'll check that App out, thanks!
