So I just had some messy G1 issues and I had to do a wipe, which means that I have to re-register the phone when I re-boot. I am using Cyanogen build 3.6.8.1 and it enables me to skip the registration. The reason I want to do this is because I do not have a great data services where I live and I just use WiFi. So I want to skip the registration, turn my wifi on, and then try to register the device.
My question is, how do I register the phone with the wifi on once I have already skipped the registration during boot up. I could not find a system setting to register my google account to the phone. It seems the only time you can do this is during boot up.
Any suggestions?
