Skullcandy Loriders dont work

My Skullcandy lowriders dont work with my samsung galaxy apollo. The sound come out crackely and sometimes when they are plugged in the sound comes out of my speakers.
 
the headphone jack is not standard, as it has a microphone connector in it. I tried to use my senheiser ones, and had the same problem. I also tried to use my samsung ones in my portable DVD player, and could hardly hear them.
