I installed Skype a few weeks ago and I tested it with a friend that has a Blackberry Q10 and it seem to work ok. I don't use it all that much but now that I wanted to tested with a workstation at the office I come to noticed that even though the video quality is fine, the workstation can HEAR me but I can't.

I have gone to my settings and see nothing wrong or blocked... ditto on the workstation

Is there any way to test this on my own to see whether I need to change an option?

If you had no problem connecting to the BB, the problem must lie with the workstation. Its not clear frm your post what the precise problem is. You say the workstation can hear you but you cant. You cant be heard?
In any event as mentioned its likely to be the workstation. See if ypu can get a different colleague to install skype. If thats ok it has to be the station.

He (workstation) can see and hear me but I on the other hand can only see but NOT hear him.

When I get close to the workstation I can hear the feedback audio from his/workstation speakers so there is definitely life there.

Other than knowing that there is sound coming off of the workstation via a song or test within the realtek control panel, I do not know what else to click/unclick, enable/disable to make it work or get pass the issue.

Skype sound setting on his workstation pass all the sound tests.

I updated the Realktek Audio Drivers on the workstation and that did not do the trick. I went back to the Audio Options in Skype and switch the Mic to USB Audio Device instead of Realtek Audio, saved and it did the trick.

I tell you, there are times I want to kill someone for this but, all in all, the workstation is now working and all is good.

Thanks again folks... much appreciated.
