why when i call or recieve calls i cannot hear the other person but they can hear me just fine?

Hi there, welcome to Android Forums! Did you make sure the volume is turned up? If you did, what device are you using Skype on? It's possible that it may be a known issue for your device but without knowing what device your using, I don't even know where to begin!
