I recently upgraded from an LG Lucid2 to a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, and imported the same Skype version to it. However, now, any calls I make automatically mute the background noise, which also tends to make it harder to hear the person I'm calling (and I'm told they can't hear me either). I've turned off the Ok Google detection, and the Mute Background Noise option in the system call settings, and my Skype settings are identical to how they were on my Lucid, but the problem persists. I'm using an outdated version (5.0.0.49715, I've downgraded back down to it before as new updates tend to worsen things it seems) but it worked fine on my previous device. It seems less noticeable when calling someone on another Samsung, but calling someone with an iPad tends to result in us having to repeat ourselves constantly. I've seen threads for others with Samsung devices also complaining about the sound quality of Skype, but couldn't find any solutions that worked.
