I am absolutely new to these tablets. I have an APAD (2nd generation, red LED) and would like to use Skype on WiFi. I have read at the Skype site that they have withdrawn Skype Lite. This application was one of the main reasons I went for the tablet. I also could not find it at The Marketplace.
Can it still be downloaded? Can I download it on my Windows PC, transfer it onto a microSD card and then install the card in the APAD? From there what do I do......I have ES File Explorer??
Why the card swap above is because at this point I cannot get my USB connection working properly between either a PC with MS XP or another with VISTA. It connects (only with the lower USB) but after mounting only shows the MID internal directories, files and not the SD card. I cannot seem to find a suitable driver for either OS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am travelling overseas and getting Skype to work is important to me.
Thanks in advance,
Rod
