Skype, LG Opti V, and VM advice

Can someone please tell me if I use Skype with my LG Optimus V on the VM Beyond Talk Plan if it uses my voice minutes or only data? How much data would say, a 10 minute phone call on Skype use up?

If Skype does use only data and not voice, which skype plan is best (does it have to be skype for mobile or android or just regular skype)? How would I use skype on the mobile?

I would've seen this yesterday if you'd posted in the OV forum - over here there are lots o' threads on that very thing Try posting all your V questions there, it's pretty active.
Skype uses data over 3G, or WiFi. No minutes Google voice, however, does.
1. Skype regular lets you Skype other people on Skype - free, no matter if they're on an android or computer.
2. Paid subscriptions start at about $3 a month and let you 'Skype out' from your Droid to any number in North America.
3. You can also purchase an actual phone number with skype for about $40 more a year to let other people call you on that number, also call any number in North America.

Depends on who your contacts are - I used number 2 until recently when I bumped to another minute tier, now I just use the free.
