skype + wifi tethering + viber on Android

hey guys...

I am currently an iphone 4 user and thinking of getting an android phone as a 2nd line...

I need to be able to use skype , wifi tethering and viber in the android phone..

do I need to jailbreak the phone in order to do wifi tethering ?

I also might need to use it with different networks in the us or europe...so I guess it needs to be unlocked ? or I may unlock it ?


also is there any android phones that allow micro sims? if I decide to move my iphone's micro sim to the android phone... will that work ?

if you want to use more than 2 gb you will need to "root" the phone to use wifi tethering. Verizon phones dotn use sims, but i dont know about other networks.

My iphone 4 skype allows video calls, as my droid x does not

research which phones allow certain features before you do it
