Help Skype working?

Anyone get Skype working on N7? It runs on mine but the other party does not hear me.

Any settings or anything you need to change?

Yes, it worls for me, with others who use Skype (the other user had a laptop). Have you tested with echo123? I don't recall having to change any settings, but that doesn't mean you won't have to change something.

I think they even fixed the upside down image problem in the past few days too. When I tried my N7 with a Mac desktop in the same room ... wow the audio feedback was incredible. So it seems to be working for me, check for a Skype update!

Worked for me on my N7 with Mrs viffer on my TF101

The only thing I have to do to see her with a video call is manually and independently start the camera (both devices) before I start the call on Skype. No problem with audio/voice calls

I did some more testing and the audio test call works, but when I do a video call from the N7 to a laptop, my audio does not come through to the laptop.

I need to investigate if there may be an update for Skype on the laptop.

Make sure the mute is off on the N7 when you take the call, seems weird to test OK but not work on a real call.

The audio kept going in and out for me... so I ended up just calling my wife and putting her on speaker phone while using Skype simply for the visuals.

I think I'll try Google Hangouts next time. I just have to teach the wife how to use it.

For me Skype seems to also be a real disappointment after 5 minutes of Skype being on it turns off by it's self. Note my phone does the same thing but it is running on gingerbread. Clearly it is not the android version which affects Skype so there must be a bug in the app which is very disappointing.
