Help Sleep lock screen not working

Hi i have set lock screen sleep to never or 10 minutes but when i lock my phone by pressing the power button it just dims in brightness the goes black in about 5 seconds can anyone please help me i just want the screen to go to sleep for 25 minutes

i mean the lock screen itself not the home screen showing apps
 
If i use a live wallpaper or picture and use it on the lock screen it will just go dim and then the screen will go black in about 5 seconds i want to set the live wallpaper or pic to show for longer if you know what I mean
