"Sleep mode" app?

Is there any kind of app that can block incoming texts and calls, but still allow me to keep my phone on? I'm going to Mexico for vacation, and I dont want a 45378594365 dollar phone bill.

you could probably have your carrier block texts for the time you're away, and then just dont answer any calls.

as far as i know, you dont get charged if you dont answer a call that does come in. texts are a different story, but depending on your carrier you might be able to change some settings that would allow you to accept or reject texts as they come in.
