SlideIT working intermittently with Google Voice recognition in SMS

I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus that I purchased from Google running Jelly Bean (4.1.1) and I have the paid version of SlideIT that I have been using happily for about six weeks now.

Starting just the last few days I have noticed that the voice recognition in SlideIT has become intermittent. Anyone else notice this or a similar problem?

Any known cures?

Problem solved. I switched to the free Swype beta ( Swype | Text Input for Screens ) and got a refund for SlideIT:
