Slightly OT - Virus on alldroid.org?

Hi,

Newbie here. I've been trolling this forum for 1+ week since getting my Motorola Droid. I was looking for walllpaper, and there was a mention of alldroid.org forum and I visited there last night. I went to the forum and suddenly Java update loaded and my Acrobat 5 loaded up. A few minutes later, this malware Antispyware soft infected my computer!

Just wondering, did anyone get experience that? Or was it just me? I don't visit any odd sites while surfing the web, and my browser was only on that site at the time.

I've never been to that site, so this is in many ways just speculation on my part. I would guess though that it probably came from an ad running on the site and not the site itself. I've seen people on different forums talking about a bunch of different sites that this is happening on.

I'd stick with Android Forums
I, personally, am not the biggest phan (see what I did there?) of All Droid.
