Slow camera after SD Migrate

So I've installed and adopted my SD card and the camera is now taking more than 5 seconds from pressing the screen to taking a photo - prior to adopting storage I was saving the images to the SD card and it did NOT respond this slow -- any thoughts on what happened and what I can do to fix it?

IMO, adopting storage is a really bad idea, and you've discovered one of the reasons - performance is worse. I'm afraid you'd have been better off using the SD card as portable storage.

Just to rule out the possibility ... dud you do a Wipe Cache Partition after the change?
