Slow galaxy ace

Hi does anyone know how i can make my samsung galaxy ace run a bit quicker. The screen goes black for about 10 seconds between changing from one screen to another, also when going into messages and other tabs. Its very frustrating i have cleared all the cache etc.

Limited ram available, can't do much.
Check your background processes which are hogging all the ram, clear up some non essentials and see if it speeds up things.
