Is there a setting to up the frame rate to 240 fps as specified for the camera in slow motion.
All of the slow motion recordings I have done although they do play in slow motion do not have the proper number of frames for 240 fps recording.
For a 5 sec video at 240 fps it should record 1200 frames. All of my 5 second recordings done using the slow motion option capture 150 frames which equates to 30 fps.
I also downloaded the Samsung demo slow motion video ( people playing in the water) and after loading it into adobe premier it also shows only enough frames to calculate to 30 fps.
I installed MX player on my note 8 and it inspects the properties of the video files saved and it too shows the video recorded at 30 fps.
Is there a setting I have missed or is the 240 fps slow motion video recording misunderstood.
I can confirm that when video that has been taken using the slow motion option is sent directly to another source of viewing without being viewed on the phone first it does show all of the frames that should be recorded for 240 fps recording.
Not sure what happens during processing for viewing on the phone but some frames are unable to be seen after doing so.
