Help Slow response

Recently, my phone has been responding very slowly. Visible delay switching apps, etc. Is there any way to tell what might be causing that? I seem to remember somewhere in the settings that showed all the running apps and what percent of the CPU each was using. But I can't seem to locate that now.

Any ideas?

Did you Wipe Cache Portion deleting all temporary data and not touching permanent data, settings, or installed apps? This will correct the problem in almost all cases.

If you already did a Wipe Cache Partition and have the problem then reboot into Safe Mode disabling all apps you added without uninstalling them. If the problem stops it is caused by an app that you added.

I tried it using the steps I found here:

But I can't get farther than step 5. I hold down the Vol Down and tap the Vol Up key, and nothing happens. After a while, the phone reboots by itself. What am I doing wrong?

I don't have your phone so I can't help.

This process is always klunky the first time you try it as you learn the correct key combinations (different on all models).

I Wipe Cache Partition on my Droid Turbo 2 every Saturday as part of weekly maintenance.

Yes, I got it to work using the second set of instructions I found.

Just been using the phone for about a half hour since I did the wipe and it does seem better.
